Reading the brakes in one controlled stop
A controlled braking says more about the brakes than a look at the discs.

Looking at brake discs tells you about wear on the surface. It says little about how the car actually stops.
During the road test, the driver performs a controlled braking. DeepDiag records how the car decelerates.
The models compare that deceleration with what a healthy car of that kind should achieve, and flag the brakes when the behaviour falls short.
Like every finding, it is reported per system and kept on the car's record.
These notes describe the method in general terms. Findings in a report always come from the car's own road test.
