Notifications
The Notifications module allows users to monitor real-time operational events related to inventory, sales, marketing, credits, and system automations. It serves as a centralized live activity feed to help operators detect key moments and take action when needed.
1. Live Activity Feed
The main interface displays a chronological feed of notifications, each containing:
- the source module
- the affected entity
- the detected state or action
- timestamp information
- event identifier
- completion status
This feed acts as an operational event log.
2. Notification Categories
Notifications are grouped by functional categories such as:
| Category | Description |
|---|---|
| 360 jobs | Events related to 360 inspections and processing |
| Inventory | Vehicle stock and inspection workflows |
| Sales | Sales pipeline and CRM events |
| Marketing | Campaigns and automations |
| Documents | Document generation and processing |
| System | Internal platform system events |
| Credits | Credit usage and processing |
Note: Categorization helps users focus on a specific domain of activity.
3. Feed Filters
Filter controls located above the feed allow users to switch between:
- All activity (default view)
- individual categories
- contextual filters depending on the module
Note: Filtering improves usability when monitoring high volumes of events.
4. Feed Actions
Global actions are available for managing the notification feed:
- Mark all read — marks all notifications as read
- FIFO clear — clears notifications using a First-In-First-Out strategy
- Clear all — removes all visible notifications
These utilities help maintain a clean and relevant feed.
5. Notification Details
Each notification displays structured information:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Title | Main subject |
| Tag | Functional context |
| Subtitle | Status or state (e.g., LOADING, INSPECTED, COMPLETED) |
| Timestamp | Time elapsed |
| Event ID | Unique event identifier |
| Status indicator | for completed or successful events |
Some notifications may be interactive depending on the module.
6. Health & Analytics
The right-side panel provides operational context and monitoring capabilities.
Queue Health
Displays the state of the live notification queue:
- Total live notifications
- Unread
- FIFO depth
These metrics allow operators to verify system throughput and ingestion health.
Operational Highlights
Displays surfaced insights such as:
- Campaign automations
- Sales pipeline
- Contracts workspace
- Account status
This section serves as a mission control summary for key operational areas.
7. Event Sources
Notifications may originate from multiple internal subsystems such as:
- vehicle onboarding workflows
- 360 inspection jobs
- marketing automations
- credit consumption and billing
- document generation systems
- system integration layers
This provides a unified operational view across modules.
8. Common Use Cases
The Notifications module enables operators to:
- monitor vehicle ingestion and inspection
- detect import or processing errors
- verify credit execution workflows
- observe marketing campaign automation
- supervise sales funnel activity
- verify system health and background processes
It functions as a real-time cross-domain monitoring tool.
9. Behavior & Persistence
Depending on configuration and user roles:
- some notifications expire automatically
- others persist until user action
- some may serve as historical audit logs
Persistence behavior may vary by environment (e.g., dealership vs admin platform).
