Repairs

What it is for

Repairs estimates the cost of putting each car back in shape, from the damages logged during inspection. The result lowers the recommended trade-in or purchase value.

Access

  • Menu: Steer Pricer › Repairs (/dashboard/pricing/repairs).
  • Requires the Cars module on your team.

Steps

  1. Open Steer Pricer › Repairs. The list shows Repair estimation for each car: "N/N settled" or No damages.
  2. Click Inspect on a car to open Car repairs pricing.
  3. In Damages, choose a decision for each damage: Repair or Replace.
  4. Click Estimate costs (or Analyze damage) to compute the costs.
  5. Read the breakdown: Parts, Labor, Paint, Base repair amount and Estimated total.
  6. Check the Reconditioning summary and the recommended trade-in / purchase value.

Good to know

  • Damages come from Visual inspection (Damages & tracking). Without damages, there is nothing to estimate.
  • Some amounts are calculated with your garage rates ("Garage rate").
  • Show TTC displays the amounts including VAT.

Common issues

"Please save the car first to estimate repairs." Finish and save the car's details, then come back.

The car shows "No damages". Log the damages in Inspection › Visual › Damages & tracking first.

"Unable to save this damage. Please try again." The change was not saved. Check your connection and try again.
