Share car report
At the end of the Car Report page, a button labeled "Share report" enables users to share the vehicle report externally via a generated link.
1. Purpose
The Share Car Report feature allows users to:
- Share the vehicle report with external stakeholders
- Provide remote access to the report
- Showcase the vehicle to potential buyers
- Collaborate with partners or technicians without requiring account access
2. How It Works
When the user clicks the "Share report" button:
- A unique, secure link is generated for the selected vehicle report.
- This link can be copied and shared externally.
- The recipient can view the report directly through the browser.
No authentication or login is required for the recipient, ensuring fast and frictionless access.
3. Shared Report Content
The shared report displays the same content as the Car Preview Report, including:
- Vehicle identity & photos
- Overview & specifications
- Car health
- 360° view
- Feature list
- Interior / exterior condition
- Inspection details
- Technical subsystems (Suspension, Engine, Steering, Braking system)
The shared version is read-only and non-editable to guarantee integrity.
